A landscape-led approach
- The development will retain existing features such as trees and habitats wherever possible and the design recognises the importance of access to open spaces and the natural environment.

Design
- The primary spine road will be of distinctive character that prioritises active travel through a well-designed network of walking and cycling routes connecting the development together, as well as connecting to new and existing services and facilities.
- The development promotes the use of public transport via an existing bus network, with enhancements made and new bus stops will be introduced to nearby residential areas to reduce the reliance on cars.
